PACK HIKES

  • every Friday Night Pack Meeting follows a Pack Hike on Saturday
  • the whole family is invited to participate
  • the hike will be not much longer than 1.5 miles
  • there should be enough time to explore the nature
  • every Cub Scout who participate in at least 3 Pack Hikes will earn a Hiking Stick
  • to earn a medallion in their age group for the hiking stick a Cub Scout has to participate on some Den or Pack Hikes: Tigers (5) • Wolf (6) • Bear (7) • Web's (8)

William and Mary Basketball • Januar 2009 

William and Mary planned a scout nite/day for the following Basketball Games:

  • WOMENS - Jan 11 Sunday 2PM vs. UNCWilmington
  • MENS – Jan 31 Saturday 5PM vs. Georgia State. 

Scouts get in FREE, and accompanying adults pay.

Pinewood Derby Race • 

!! study the Rules !!

 

  • be creative ... have fun to build your very own car !! 
    the cars will be judged for the best design as well ;-))
  • The WEIGH IN on Saturday is not a requirement but is meant to help speed things along on race day. Coming to Saturday's weigh in gives your Scout a look at what he may need to change on his car to get it right at the 5 oz. weight limit. If he weighs in and his car is finished and it's right at 5 oz., you can check the car in for us to keep overnight and save the wait in line on Sunday!
  • snacks will be sold 
  • build your own car and have fun at the race !!
    stick to the rules !!

  • wear your Uniform Class A or Class B

March in Christmas Parade

  • Uniform A
  • 8.30-8.45am meet around the Courthouse on Duke of Glouster Street - walk the line to find Pack 103
  • Parade starts by 9am 
  • We'll end with patches and hot chocolate in the field next to the William and Mary Hall parking lot! 
  • ... be prepared for the cold weather !!!
  • ** brrrr **   *** yeah !! ***

 

Twin Pin Bowl • at the Naval Weapon Station

We would need a headcount from dens as to know how many Scouts and siblings are coming, as the space is tighter than the lanes at Williamsburg Bowl.

 

  • Pack103 covers the admission fee
  • no outside food is allowed
  • Pack103 will order some pizzas and drinks ahead of time
  • Scouts should bring 3$ to cover the food
  • Everyone should wear clean tennis shoes to bowling
  • we will split our Pack in two shifts for playing:
    2pm to 3 pm -  Bears & Tigers
    3pm to 4 pm – Webelos & Wolves

  • bring your tent and sleeping bag if you have them, but Pack 103 can provide tents to families to need them
  • Uniform A and Uniform B
  • 5$ per person attend camp for food

  • make ready for campfire with songs, skits and marshmallows

  • we provide dinner and breakfast

Corn Maze • 

  • we will meet at the cornfield not later than 6PM
  • we will spent around 2hours in the field
  • Class B Uniform (yellow shirt) & Pack103 hats
  • check with your friends if you can car pool
  • a fee will occur: 9$or10$ for 12+ / 8$or9$ for 5-11
  • We'll be the only group there (the maze is open by appointment only in August) and will be able to cruise the maze until dusk (about 8 p.m.)
  • the only Tractor Ride is AT 6pm

Directions

From Williamsburg

From Rt. 199 In Williamsburg, follow Virginia State Route 5 west across the Chickahominy bridge to Charles City County. Go approximately 4 miles , then left at Wilcox Neck Road (Rt. 623). Wilcox Neck changes into Sandy Point after about 2 miles and then you go for another 2 miles on Sandy Point. Stay on that road, until you see the sign for Renwood Fields Farm on your right.
