Baseball: Columbus Clippers at Richmond Braves  •  Aug 12th • 2pm
That's this summer's Scout Day at the Diamond. We had a great time last year marching on the field, snapping up bobbleheads, watching an inside the park homerun during the game and running the basepaths afterwards. 
  • To buy buy tix before AUG.7, we get patches and a place in the pregame parade on the field. So please send headcounts to den leaders. 
  • The particulars:  2 p.m. gametime 
  • we'll likely meet at Wal-Mart parking lot like we did last year and caravan up; 
  • I imagine we'd leave that lot by 12:15 p.m.
  • Scouts and leaders are $2; family and friends are $3.50; first 2,500 fans in get a FRISBEE 
  • And this year let's go in CLASS B SHIRTS -- it could be really hot on  Aug. 12!

Go see it !!  • Norfolk, Navy Base • June 30 • Sat
  •  Larry Luck has arranged a tour of an aircraft carrier and a surface ship in Norfolk for Pack 103!! 
  • Now THAT's a Go See It!
  • parents need to accompany each Scout or sibling going along
  • BUT we do want to minimize the number of cars that will go on base, so dens should talk about who has minivan capacity or who might already have DoD stickers on their cars.
  • We would gather down there at 10 a.m., tour a ship, have lunch, then tour the other ship.

Tribe Men's Basketball 

  • The William and Mary Athletic Department is hosting Cub/Boy Scout night on January 27, 2007, as the Tribe Men's Basketball team takes on Georgia State.
  • Tip-Off for this game is 7:00 p.m. 
  • All Scouts (under the age of 14) and leaders in uniform will receive free admission to the game. 
  • No pre-registration is necessary. 
  • The first 100 Scouts will receive a Scout Day patch compliments of the Athletic Department and an autograph session will follow the game.

Winter Campout at Virginia Living Museum - Fri, Jan 19 2007 

           

  • Class B Uniform
  • Pack 103 will have the museum for itself
  • we have place for  70 Scouts/Adult 
  • bring a sleeping bag/mattress/pillow
  • bring a toothbrush/cloth/personal belonging
  • an oatmeal box and a flashlight
  • NO food, NO electronics, NO knives
  • first come first serve - please reserve your spot !!
